My friend told me that its also can be reached by bus from Taipei using Kamalan Bus(葛瑪蘭). The hotel provide shuttle service from the bus/train station to the hotel which can be arrange ine day prior your departure.

Dancewoods-Yilan is the first and the only Japanese garden-themed hotel in Taiwan. Everyone will enjoy the relaxing vacation and compose beautiful amazing memories of the journey here. Their Japanese garden-styled park is full of landscape,humanistic art,ecology and leisure under one roof. The surrounding by terraced paddy field, rivers  and Central Mountain Ranges. The most unique Japanese garden-style resort we had ever been with magnificent view making us relax and have a good time. 

The Waltzing Butterfly one of the restaurant inside Dancewoods-Yilan where Guests can enjoy dining with the bright indoor environment and from the windows marvel at the beautiful scenery of the Guishan Island and the Yilan landscape. At lunch time, they have a la carte menu both dishes truffle bacon risotto and fresh vegetables noodle are so good! Kay enjoy lucnh so much, finish it with nice chocolate milk :)

For dinner, the restaurant provide buffet style or Western dinner set based on number of guest. When got to tried out their buffet style the options pretty much the same with some a la carte menu not that much options but taste pretty good, I got second plate and many desserts for sure.

Another options for dinner here, but since many raw foods we skip on it.

Dance Japanese Restaurant is a classic Japanese style and each dish keeps the original flavor of its ingredients. The Chef's exquisite culinary interpretation is a complete performance of the essence of Japanese cuisine, especially in mastering the heat when using such seasonal ingredients, to show the latter's true flavors.

The breakfast buffet also in Waltzing Butterfly with many great options from Chinese style breakfast to Western style breakfast. You have many things from soups, salad, congee, steamed dumplings, meat, veggies, many bread, cheese, bacon, sausage, cereal, fruits and more.

Now is time to see all the entertainment and facilities in the hotel. You can go to gym, recreation room, the pool, and sauna. It's really a relaxing place for couple or family to enjoy a day outside from busy city of Taipei. It's really a great hotel resort with excellent service and great facilities. Too bad it's raining all day otherwise the outdoor activity will be more fun.

DIY handmade Matcha experience, sipping tea with Japanese pastry craft culture.

Feels like we are in Kyoto Japan, put on a traditional Japanese yukata, and take part in a matcha experience. Waking around in the Japanese garden for a while. I've been missing Japan so much these day, definitely going to be the 1st country I visited after Corona is over

The room is spacious, each room has own room-bath. First things I do, take nice long hot bath while seeing the mountain view. I love this hotel service and facilities. Free mini bar, fruits, cookies and tea is all available in your room :)
