Seoul City - Day 1 Myeongdong Street, Myeongdong Kyoja and Honey Butter Almond
This time I got a chance to visit city of Seoul, first time ever visiting Korea. It's our first family vacation outside taiwan with my 3 years daughter, we arrived around 5 pm in the afternoon after almost 2 hours of flight. We took 6015 bus for almost 2 hours to get to our hotel in Myeongdong area from the airport.
Bus route no.6015: Incheon Airport – Myeong-dong Station.
To downtown: From 05:35 am to 22:50 pm.
To Incheon Airport: From 04:10 am to 20:20 pm. Frequency: 8 up to 12 minutes.
Nearest Station : Myeongdong line 4 exit 6
Opening Hours : Every day from 4pm until midnight
Myeong-dong is one of the primary shopping districts in Seoul. Our favorite area to get something to eat hahaha. Basically you can get many food options here from fast food, Korean, Western and Japanese dining options. We actually spend several nights eating dinner around Myeong-dong area from Korean BBQ, bibimbap, dakgalbi, dumpling, korean street food and many supermarkets that sell many snacks :). First stop LINE shop with a huge brown to celebrate Halloween, strolling around & dinner.

Myeongdong Kyoja is a noodle restaurant located in Myeongdong area, this restaurant is known for their knife-cut handmade kalguksu (noodle soup) and dumpling with juicy meat filling, both dishes are delicious and fresh. Its a Michelin star restaurant with a reasonable price.
More korean street food and snack for this little one, Korean Egg Bread (Gyeran Bban fog) is her favorite korean street food I guess, she even refused to share it with her daddy. It’s a warm soft fluffy bread topped with egg, almond, peanut and sunflower seed which can be easily find in most streets of Korea for KRW 2.000.
In Myeongdong street you will see many supermarket sell this honey almond butter. My husband love it so much and he said visit to Korea won’t be complete without having this one. Besides almond, they also have so many types of nuts such as cashew, macadamia, also it comes in wide variety of seasoning, wasabi, caramel, etc. Do stop by in some shops here in Myeongdong cause they give free sample to try it on.
Also don't forget to try the iconic banana milk in Korea. The milk is very light and so sweet but we enjoyed it very much. Besides banana, they also have strawberry and melon flavors. You can get it from 7-Eleven, Lawson, any supermarket or minimarts in Korea around KRW 1.300
