Family Trip to Bali - Day 1
This time we are going to Bali, traveling first time in domestic flight with my 2,5 years daughter and almost 1 year old niece. Flying with a toddler and baby is never fun they said, luckily the flight from Surabaya to Bali only takes 45 minutes. Wherever possible, opt for a morning flight so both babies can sleep during the flight and they did (Hooray!!).

First pit stop, for breakfast we got Bali sucking pig!! The place is very simple, but their traditional balinese suckling pig is good but I'm warning you it's super extra hot.
Here we are finally in our nice villa in Seminyak area, the villa got 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, and of course pool :).
Babies are ready to go to Ubud for a nice lunch. We better get going because it took roughly about 90 min to Ubud from our villa in Seminyak and even longer about 1h45 min to come back to Seminyak in the afternoon.

Finally lunch time, can wait to try their signature dish "Tepi Sawah Crispy Duck". The restaurant is so nice with roof bamboo pavilions in different sizes surrounded by rice fields.
The signature menu fried duck is served with three different types of traditional sambal sauces: tomato-chilli blend, aromatic chopped shallots with chillies and lime, and sliced chillies in soy sauce. Grilled duck is also available as well as fried or grilled chicken leg. The restaurant not only have Indonesia menus, but also Westerns and Asian style dishes like pasta, chicken teriyaki, soup, salad, etc. For my daughter, I order Chicken Finger Tartar Sauce (forgot to take the picture) since she likes chicken and the meat won't have a strong taste like grilled or fried chicken leg.
Ready for afternoon dip in our villa. Both babies sleep in the car on our way back from Ubud so their energy level is up. We rented some pool floats and they already delivery it this morning. I don't know how those girls do it, coz I must said its not easy getting in and out of that giant swan,

What to eat after a swim?? You can choose delicious Teppanyaki from Rayjin, starting from Gyutan Pirikara Negi Shio, Gindara Misozuke, Salmon Teriyaki, Meltique Steak to Pork Gyoza. This was the best meal I had my entire trip. Rayjin has gain lots of great reputation and you just got to come and try it for yourself.
My sister is craving for sweet tooth, so after dinner we walked to a donuts shop near by Rayjin called "Dough Darling", but it was already sold out. Then we just googled nearby cafe and found Livingstone Bakery.
