The Big Apple City, New York day 1

This time I got a chance to visit "The Big Apple", first time ever visiting USA. New York City has been called many things such as "The Big Apple", “The City that Never Sleeps" or "Gotham". The city that I only see in the movie, but now thanks to my lovely husband we can celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary here. We arrived around afternoon and we were so exhausted after almost 16 hours of flight. But despite how exhausted you'll be, try to stay awake when till the land bedtime so you can adjust to the new time zone as quickly as possible. So we decided to explore Times Square later that afternoon after a nice long bath.

Nearest Station : Times Sq - 42 St
Times Square is a famous intersection in New York City located in the heart of Manhattan which is best known for its entertainment, and plenty of visitors come here to attend a Broadway show. There are also many shops such as Forever 21, Disney Store and a large Toys"R"Us. The ball dropping on New Year's Eve is a wonderful event that occurs here. Hopefully someday I get to watch it here, fingers crossed.

Bubba Gump
Nearest Station : Times Sq - 42 St, walk 2-3 minutes from Times Square
Not only you can many shops but also good restaurant around Times Square. One of them is Bubba Gump, a chain restaurant which is named after the film's characters Benjamin Buford "Bubba" Blue and Forrest Gump. Remember that film Forrest Gump? I think it was a hit around 20 years ago. The restaurant decoration is all about that movie. We are actually not that hungry coz we ate after we landed, so we only order one for share. We choose the guest favorite "Forrest’s Seafood Feast" a hand breaded fried shrimp, fish & chips which is served with French fries and homemade dippin’ sauces, The staff at Bubba Gump were all lovely, the service is okay. They even interact with the customer by asking a few question about the movie and even thought we can't answer some of it they still give you some candies and told you the answer.

After dinner, we can't not longer hold our sleepy eyes so we decided to go back to hotel, taking a long long night sleep. Good night New York City...
