Road Trip To Hershey's Chocolate World & DC
Today will be a long day coz we will be driving straight from Niagara Falls to Washington DC, our butt will stick in the car for approximately 9 hours. The view on the road is pretty nice until a few hours later we got boring with the same view over and over again. On our way to DC, we got 2 option either stop by the Hershey’s Chocolate World or Corning Museum of Glass. But seriously who choose museum over candy bar. Hohoho..

Hershey’s Chocolate World is just a great place to grab a giant candy bar and bring it back to your families or coworker as a gift. Everywhere I look it's a chocolate heaven, I feel like a little child picking up all the candies. Don't forget to try on their free attraction like Hershey's Chocolate Tour to give some illustration how is the transformation from bean to chocolate bar. Of course other attraction is available with purchasing admission like 4D movie, chocolate tasting, creating our own candy bar and many more, see more detail here. I think it would be a great place to spend with your kids.

Finally we arrived around 6 pm in DC, my friend suggested to drop our luggage first before returning the car so we didn't have to carry around many luggage while confusing looking for the house. It's our first time ever booked our accommodations via Airbnb. We like the house so much it's so comfy, the neighborhood is safe and only 8 minutes walked from Eastern Market subway. For my next trip, I should ditch a hotel and experiment staying with locals more, no only prices of the hotels are high especially in capital city like DC but you can also talk to the host to know more about the attraction, foods and culture of the city.

After returning the car to Union Station, we walked to nearby neighborhood H street to grab dinner. Our first choice goes to dumpling coz we really miss chinese food. On the first floor restaurant with just around 12 seats, you can see an open kitchen where the owner rolling the dumpling one by one. Pot stickers, homemade buns and grilled skewers are their main menu with prices range from $1.25 to $4. If you are interested in getting a cocktail just head up to the second floor bar where you can order your drink in the bar and food from downstairs.
