Eternal City of Rome Day 3 Campo de' Fiori market and Vatican City
Another beautiful morning in Eternal City, our itinerary today is to visited Campo de' Fiori market and Vatican City (save the best for the last).
There are no metro station nearby Camp de Fiori market so better use bus no 64 (beware of pickpocket). Camp de Fiori is a busy piazza that attract both local and tourist. By day the piazza is an outdoor market selling many things such as fruits, vegetables, meats, pastas, spices, etc. Except on sunday morning its become flea market (I read it somewhere.. Hahaha..) And by night its known as place for nightlife with many bars surround it. I'm really interesting to go here to buy some pasta and spices, hopefully I can cook those ingredient to become as delicious as pasta in here. Finally we bought pasta and many kind of spices like pesto, basil, truflle salsa, I can't wait to go home and try it.
After shopping, we continued our trip to Vatican City by bus no 64 (beware of pickpocket). There is no fee to enter St. Peter's Basilica except the dome. But there is a fee to enter the Vatican Museum around 14 euros. If you do both in one day do the museum first to avoid long line in St. Peter's Basilica and please please do order the ticket in advanced since the line just to buy the entry ticket is really long (the best 1,5 euros I ever spent to order ticket in advance really save me a lot of time to avoid the longest queue ever).
Vatican Museum, the greatest art collection in the world, with many masterpieces from painting, sculpture and many more art work from time to time. I'm really tired wondering around inside coz it's really big and crowded of course, but really fascinating art collection. At the end of Vatican Museum you will find the famous Sistine Chapel, which its ceiling decorated by Michelangelo (no picture allow inside Sistine Chapel).

We waited around 30-40 minutes in the queue & security check up before entering St. Peter's Basilica. Its really amazing church with those marble architecture. Inside you could found Statue of Mary and Jesus, another Michelangelo famous art. Don't forget to check the crypt underneath the church coz I almost miss that.

Exit the Vatican Museums and walk down the spiral staircase, many people photographed this graceful stair (can you see me among those people??).

After this we will climbing the cupola (dome) to see the fantastic view of the city and St.Peter Square. You can access the dome by taking elevator to the terrace level (saving around 230 steps), but if you want to be on the top of the cupola you must take the stairs which mean another 320 steps which is really step and narrow. The entrance to dome cost 7 euros for elevator, 5 euros for stairs (total 551 steps).
Those are swiss guard, watchmen of Vatican City, just love their unique and kind a cute uniform.
