Paris The City of Love, Day 4 Montmartre

It's our fourth day in Paris, we decided to take a nice relaxing time to Montmartre area today. The Place du Tertre, the old village square in Montmartre, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, is one of Paris's most popular sights. Painters, portraitists and caricaturists of all nationalities display their wares and offer their services. It was really an interesting square, I was watching the process start from blank paper until it's done and that  service will cost 35 euros.

The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica and often simply Sacré-Cœur, is a Roman Catholic churchMontmartre best attraction. You can enjoy the fantastic Paris view from the top of the staircase while listening to street musician playing the harp. The musician played at Sacré Cœur for many years, and sells his CDs. See this link youtube, his music is so touching. I was sitting on the top of the staircase and keep listening while he playing many song such as Canon in D, My Heart Will Go On (Titanic) which by the way my favorite song and etc. It was such a beautiful day with the music, view and the surrounding in that particular spot making this one of my favorite place in Paris.

That day would be more perfect if the bracelet scam guys didn't pull my husband hands. We heard so many stories about bracelet scam guys that operate near the Sacré-Cœur foot steps, We already walk very quickly and try to avoid in any way if we see black guy, but somehow they still targeting us. What they would do is take your arm and start to put it (the bracelet) on you very quickly, if you let them finish the "friendship" bracelets they will want to be paid. Luckily my husband have a good reflex, once that guy touch his hand he pull his arm back and keep screaming "NO NO NO" and keep walking to avoid them.,We heard many tourist scam in Europe, so just be aware just for precaution. See this link about the bracelet scam.
