A City On Water, Venice
We took train from Firenze SMN to Venezia St. Lucia arrive around noon then dropping our luggage to the hotel. Our itinerary today is to visited La Fenice Theater, Rialto Bridge and stores around it. Many of my friend been here, some said its beautiful and romantic, some said it dirty and smell river so bad so contrast right? Venice is always in my bucket list, and I'm not wrong to ignore my friend bad experience coz I totally falling in love with this water city.
I never step a foot in any Opera House before, La Fenice Theater was my first and I'm so amaze with it. The theater open for visit as long as no show, the tour ticket cost 9 euros plus another 3 euros if you want to took a picture inside. If you see the detail craving in the balcony and ceiling so unique and beautiful.
I prefer to walk around Venice so I could see many shops surround it, but sure you could take gondola ride, ferry or water taxi to get around Venice. Next stop is Rialto Bridge, most famous and oldest bridge across the Grand Canal. I enjoy looking at beautiful sunset, grab a dinner and exploring masks shops around it. The mask so beautiful and unique, I'm thinking to buy one of the mask but I didn't go through with it since my luggage is almost full and I still need so space for stuff I might bought in Brussels & Paris.
The next morning after breakfast at the hotel, we went to Rialto Market & Piazza San Marco. Rialto Markets, a daily market that sell fresh fruits, fishes, vegetables and many other stuffs. Love strolling around in the morning in this amazing city. We continue our journey to Piazza San Macro and St. Mark's Basilica.
Piazza San Macro, a public square in Venice, a symbolic of Venice, you could see many tourist in there. Many people just relaxing in there, sitting, painting, feeding pigeons, etc. I could sit there for hours with my husband listening to the music, seeing the gondola ride, seeing the blue sky and ocean.

Don't forget to visit St. Mark's Basilica church. The entrance to the church is free but you have to pay if you want to explore other section such as museum, bell tower, sanctuary, etc. Use appropriate clothes and don't bring big bags such as bag pack or luggage otherwise you have to walk another 10 minutes to deposit your bag before entering the church.
