London de Tour part III

Oh nooo, it's down to our last 2 days of holiday. Today we are planing to visit Hampton Court Palace and Warner Bros Studio Tour. Hampton Court Palace is home of Henry VIII and no longer inhabited by the Royals. The palace was beautiful very large with nice garden, see the detail here. For those of you who wants to see the making of Harry Potter, plan your visit ahead, buy the tickets in advance. Please arrive 20 minutes prior of your ticketed time, watch your timing because it quite a long journey to the studio. We are almost late because after the long train ride you still have to take a shuttle bus to the studio, so we decided to take a taxi from Watford Junction and ended up paying 10 pound-sterling. So be there earlier and take the shuttle bus which only cost 1.5 pound-sterling each. The studio set are amazing, see the detail here.

So sad, it's our last day in London :( but we will make our last day of holiday counted by visiting Portobello market, Stamford Bridge - Chelsea FC, Old Royal Naval College and finally city river cruise. We took the tube to Notting Hill, explored Portobello Market where the vendor selling antique, clothing, jewelry and many more. Many people said it's really a popular place to shop, but I dislike it many just not my style.

My husband never step a foot to any stadium, so we decided to spend some time to explore football stadium, it's a short visit but worth the price. We took the stadium tour and start wondering inside the great interior of Stamford Bridge. The guide took us everywhere - the pitch, dressing room, press room, even the restroom. The tour takes around 30 minutes after that you can visit the museum & shop by yourself.

Old Royal Naval College is a great architectural, a World Heritage Site in Greenwich, London. We went to see the painted hall in Old Naval College, which is also one of the greatest wedding venue. Also don't miss the National Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory Greenwich nearby.

We took the river city cruises from Greenwich to go back to the city center. The journey lasted around one hour or one and half hour, it was a nice ride. We can see the sun set along with seeing London’s greatest sights!

This is the end of our journey, it's hard to say goodbye to London :( I really want to stay here a little bit longer. From all those trips and places that we visited, I could said we had an amazing time in London & surroundings. We even collect British pound coins, together they form the Royal Shield.
