Stonehenge - The Stone Circle
Stonehenge, an ancient site with stone circles, which is one of the world heritages in Britain. Stonehenge is the remains of a ring of standing stones set within earthworks. I saw it in the internet that using public transportation would took a lot of time to go to this site, so we decided to took one day local tour which include Windsor castle, Stonehenge and city of Bath. When we reached there I’m so exciting to see this huge stones, they also provided audio guide in many different language so we could listen to the whole history. The scientist predicted this monument was built 5000 years ago, but there are still many theories about who built it and what its purpose. Its still remaining big question, was Stonehenge a temple for sun worship, a healing center, a burial site or perhaps a huge calendar? For me, its actually unforgettable experience visiting this ancient site, you could see the huge stone monument in a clear blue sky, such a breathtaking view. You definitely should visit this site if you go to England.
