Cambridge City

The city of Cambridge is a university town, it’s a relative small city so most sightseeing places can be reached by foots. This beautiful city can be reached in less than an hour (around 49 minutes) from London King's Cross by daily non-stop train. I love seeing the beautiful, historic and famous ancient city. Too bad, we went there during the holiday season so all of the university were closed. But don’t worry we found another way to explore Cambridge's sights by taking Punting tours, you just need to sit back, relax and enjoy the view as your guide takes you down the river and explains the history of the colleges. I really enjoyed the ride, the guide was great and knowledgeable, this 45-minute tour cost us £15 each person.
