Miyajima Island Torii Gate
Miyajima is one of the unique island in Japan. This small island can be reached from Hiroshima in less than an hour by train and ferry. We can see the view of the gate in front of the island from the ferry. The main attraction in this island are the torri gate and Itsukushima Shrine, which is only ten minutes walks from the ferry terminal. The shrine complex is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We were so lucky when we could see the Japanese wedding held inside the Itsukushima Shrine. Not only that, but there are other couples who took their prewedding photo shot there too.
At high tide, the Itsukushima Shrine will be floating on the water. Too bad I couldn't see it, cause it's late we have to go back before we miss the ferry.

At low tide people can come down and walk near the torri gate. It's really hot tough and there is some water floating around so be careful not to wet your shoes (cause I wet mine).

You also can see a lot of wild deer wondering around there. Be careful with your bags, cause one of the them attack my starbucks bags, luckily someone help me to grab it back although it's already tore apart.
